Cyberpunk Street Scape
This project revolved around visual fidelity and the creation of assets to serve the purpose of creating a themed environment. After ideation I arrived at the theme of a Low Poly Cyberpunk street scape which has my own personal interest attached, I created an object list and gained reference images for them. These references where then used to create 3D models with topology that is optimised whilst keeping the desired look and fidelity. I then developed and learnt the skill of creating UV maps which can have textures applied to models, creating optimised based for the look and feel that gets applied in the final stage of the model design. This final stage involves the use of Substance Painter to texture and weather the models to a consistent degree making them all look unified in the scene. After doing this I created final renders and play blasts of the scene as a final look. This project was instrumental in me gaining knowledge for modelling and texturing, resulting in a cyberpunk street scape emphasising the capabilities of Maya and my skill set gained within the software throughout the process.
