Cloud Climber
Cloud Climber a project that set the task of creating a fully functional game level within Unreal Engine. This project had three distinct phases, the first of which was the ideation phase, this involved brainstorming, as well as the planning of interactions and functionality within the game level. A clear goal was necessary as well as instinctive path finding and easy navigation. After this There was a white boxing phase which included the creation of all place holder assets focusing on the layout of the level as well as the functions and interactions implementation. After the white boxing was complete the final phase was the implementation of final assets as well as sound and menus. This Project allowed me to gain valuable insight into the way in which a game is crafted, and the work required in planning and the creation of what would otherwise seem like basic functionality. The task resulted in a playable prototype level and file that can be used on all modern windows systems and be further developed if required.
